PDT's political gathering in Rio de Janeiro, BrazilBrazil's left wing political spectrum is split in three distinct groups. Today, the PSOL (Partido Socialismo e Liberdade - Socialism and Liberty Party) is the far left wing political party created by the first few expelled PT members early in the Lula administration.

It's still just a list of socialist A against socialist B. There is no option for smaller government.

Well, there is no one asking for a smaller government from the Cardoso wing of politics either, even though neoliberals are suppose to favor the private sector over governemnt intervention! Look at the tax rate and the overall debt level....its pretty crazy if you ask me, what happened to the bureucracy? Did it shink? How about the level of red tape that affects ordinary citizens?
