Brazil's current cycle of accusations did not become a journalism anthology but it is a disturbing collection of journalistic missteps. Journalists seek credibility. but few offer transparency, they intend to bring morality to public life, but the press backstage remains immersed in shade:

Does it really matter if the press has an agenda if what they report is true ?
We all know that the press has a political bias, some liberal and some conservative, and as part of a free press that is their right.
Besides, readers are smart enough to know this, in spite of the press stating the contrary.
This episode is not Watergate and is not Clintongate, it's more akin to Iran Contra, where high ranking staff, who were acting like a bunch of loose canons, have caused problems for the President.
And I give President Lula credit, he's kicking butts and taking names, because not only is it good politics it's good public policy, which are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
I believe that this scandal will not keep President Lula from a second term because from what I have learned about Brazilian politics I don't think that he carries the institutional imprint of impropriety that others have on them.
Only time will tell, and we will find out if I am right in October of 2006.

The job of the media is not to think for me.
The job of the media is to inform the facts. If you want to express your opinion put in the Editorial Section of the Magazine and give your name.
VEJA Magazine is one of the worst low classe brain Wash magazine in Brazil. The sad part is that they are able to brain wash tons of "Educated" people in Brazil.
They love to come out with things ,where they kind of direct ,the people in how to thing about a topic.
They love to say that they are fighting for the people.
Who are these people?? I did not choose then as my next Messias
Again A media must only inform the facts.Be fair and let both sides of the case to show their cases. Let the people then come out with their own conclusions.
Worst of thinking about the problems is let Others people(Veja) to think for you
If you are reading VEJA you must be out of your mind.
