I think Walter Salles is beyond brilliant and I wouldn't be surprised if On the Road became his road to confirm that he is one of the best minds in contemporary cinema.
Broadway has been doing so poorly that it had to bring the Phantom of the Opera back. Lennon didn't last long and maybe that's what Black Orpheys is supposed to do. Shake it up, bring Broadway back to life.

Brazilians are very talented and Brazil is such a magic country. Too bad politicians seem to screw things up every time. They do that up here too, but differently, they don't screw up the US, they screw everybody else.

Since Walter Salles did Central Station new doors are opening to Latin American movies. He's not only a genius, he's politically correct and aware, stands up for his Brazilian-Latin American way, and still has an univeersal mind.
