A Brazilian legislator proposed a law to make it a crime to give Brazilian people's first names to pets, (and to give pet names to people). Psychologists suggest that Brazilian kids become depressed if they discover that a pet shares their name, like Humberto, Ivomar, or Kleber.

I suggest naming this legislator chump for an IgNobel prize, an award that honors achievements that 'cannot, or shuold not, be reproduced'.
