Brazil: Sitting in the Shadow of Sarney and Magalhães PDF Print E-mail
2005 - November 2005

Former Brazilian President José Sarney wearing his Academy of Letters's garbDuring his recent testimony to the Senate economic committee, Brazil's Finance Minister, Antonio Palocci, must have felt like a rose between two thorns. To his left sat former President José Sarney while on the far right of the podium sat Senator Antonio Carlos Magalhães. Both these veterans are former chairmen of the Senate and were active in politics when Palocci was still in his pram and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was an apprentice metal worker.

Hi John,
Go get 'm tiger. Them and the other sons of b.... that do nothing for Brasil, snort up big likes pigs in a trough in brasilia, sucking the very lifeblood & $$$ of this country, keeping the downtrodden and under priveldged as they always have. These people, Sarney, ACM, Jader, etc and the rest of the swine with mensalacoes deserve nothing better than to be condemned to eternal hell for what they have done to there states and the people of Brasil.
