Such as toxic waste from your sewage and non water treatment, fertilizers that you use far more than anyone else. Or the pollution you create with the inctrolled fumes of your plants.

No one should forget that to be "energy oil equivalent" more ethanol is needed than oil, explaining that ethanol is cheaper than oil, not because it is cheaper but to be competitive with oil, even with the actual high oil prices.

Ethanol is just a propaganda of the "Greens" and some politicians included it in their strategy. Political strategy, not economical strategy.

There is plenty of oil in this planet. The nonly problem is that it must be found deeper and deeper in the ground and that increase the cost, not the availability. The actual heavy investments will bear fruits, and when the money will have been amortized, oil prices
will go down again......on the slightest world economic slowdown. And so will the price and interests of Ethanol go....!!! DOWN AND OUT OF FASHION....BECAUSE IT IS ONLY FASHIONABLE....FOR THE TIME BEING....NOT FOR EVER !!!!!!!!

I think biofuel is good for the next 20 years, just because cars don't much moderation. However it isn't the real solution. In my opinion hydrogen engines are the real solution, but it will cost some time to develop cars that run on H2 have the same performance and are affordable. For the time being ethanol is the best alternative to standard fuel.
