On October 29, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won the second round of Brazil's presidential elections with more than 60% of the vote. A large portion of Brazilians, including several leftwing critics, believe that Lula's second term (2007-2010) will center more on development than the first term, model itself less after the demands of the market, and move closer to the social movements.

Please re-read the article : "Brazil's low growth rate is trailed only by Haiti" as I said so many times, despite your insulting refusal to accept the sad reality !!!!!!
But....but.....dont worry because from my sources, 2006 is likely to be a repeat of 2005 !

welfare to single mother written by Tanaka,
December 02, 2006
Lula is going to give a minimun wage to each single mother from the country. So, they can take care of the baby and they will manage to complete the secondary school. Later Lula will be the President for life in Brazil, the father of the poor.

I really wish you could be right !
Thus far he is giving Reais 8 billion annually to 45 millions people ! Correct ? He is saying that by now every one can have 3 decent meals...per day. Correct ?
Then do your maths because that represents : ONLY Reais 0,50 per day, per entitled citizen. Can a Brazilian family of 5 people really have 3 decent meals per day....with Reais 2,50 ?????? That would put the per meal cost at Reais.....0,17...... or 7 U.S cents !!!!
Sorry....but more than highly unlikely !
You should also know that millions and millions of people dont have their birth certificate. Sadly enough that fact dont give them the right to the Bolsa Familia...as you should know.
Simple trick to NOT distribute that program to every one, under Lula own...."Soooo Generous"...... distribution rules.
What a shame, what a sad truth !

Well, maybe they shouldn't have so many kids if they can't afford to. Maybe a zipped up fly would work better than a motel and a forgotton condom.

Yes, at least we do not need to line up at Tim Hortons to get a cup of coffee and a muffin. The salary in your land in general do not support 3 meals. I sold hot dog in the USA and I know that the average american does not have one dollar after the second week of the month to pay a plain hot dog. In North America, there are plenty of churches full of meals and used cloths to share. In Brazil, we have bananas, mangas, fish in any pond. So, people can do pretty good with 7 US cents. Some people do not realize that in Brazil you can live on the streets, it is not enough cold to kill you and not so hot either. There are a lot monkeys on the trees to make a good meal and also vegetables. My friend, you really do not have an idea about the number of leguminosae plants that we can eat but we do not care. Chinese eat even insects, and we do not arrive there yet. So, be real. Life is beautiful.

melanization, skin tone, eye color, hair color, birth order, handedness written by ruffus,
December 05, 2006
in some ways we are all are from Jacob and Esau ... Jacob is Caucasian, and Esau is Negroid, and both will produce Mongoloid ... or ambidextrial offspring
Jacob is right handed as Esau is left handed
essau is more like the black race, Native Indian, Latino
and Jacob is more like the Asian, European, lighter skinned people
one can separate those born in the snow with those born in non snow as a jacob to essau people ....
i accept the sun better then my siblings, that makes me more essau then they
research shows that the people who accept the strong sun at the equator over time will live there, as opposited to those that cant take the sun as a result of low skin melanization .....
over 1000s of yrs, the people with a high iron diet also loved the warmer climate ..
high iron diet in any people group produces darker skin tone
over time, those women on a non meat diet will want to live in snow country ....
now this is melting down to people of color and non people of color
or those that hunt for meat compared to those that gather produce, nuts, roots, shoots ...
in any family of 4 children, 2 will be more meat eaters, essau, darker skinned, have more melanization in their bodies
interesting huh .... see the link below
http://phaeomelanin.quickseek.com/
the info below suggests that darker skinned people groups get sick in colder climates as they have too much melanization in their skin and cant absorb the less powerful sun's UV rays needed to make chemicals as vitamin D3 for calcium absorption and good bone, skeletal growth ....
the same for light skinned, especially reddish, or blondish hair, light blue eyed people, they cant live in the equator as they will get too much of the sun's UV rays which are always more intense at the equator
As populations spread from Africa, it seems likely that dark skin color was less well suited to environments with lower UV radiation levels in the temperate zone. While dangerous in excess, UV radiation is essential for the synthesis of previtamin D3, which is needed for calcium absorption and normal skeletal development. In tropical areas, there is no problem receiving enough UV light for D3 synthesis. In higher latitudes, though, where exposure to UV light is significantly less, a high concentration of melanin may hinder the passage of enough radiation to synthesize the necessary amount of the vitamin precursor. Medical records show that people with darker skin living in the higher latitudes are at greater risk for vitamin D3 deficiency (which can trigger the onset of various bone density diseases that can result in immobilization, deformities, and death). For this reason, it is believed that as populations moved north, natural selection favored lighter shades of skin. The point is that by understanding the biological benefits of traits, it is possible to understand the evolution of them.
