This is the last part of a five part series on the Revolt of the Fifth of
July, 1922. In the previous sections we told how civilian authorities imprisoned
Marshal Hermes da Fonseca, Head of the Army. In response, a group of young Army
officers revolted. Captain Euclides Hermes, son of the Marshal, originally lead
the rebellion, which centered on the Fort of Copacabana. My Premium Content

It is a well written article, narrating a part of our history in English, though the "Jihad" is the wrong word to be used in the title. As for as I know this word means "Holy War" and obviously the Rebellion was not a holy war.
Nevertheless, I would like to congratulate Dr.Addison Jump for researching all the arquives in Portuguese and writing the story in English for foreign readers in this site.I enjoyed reading it.
