You forgot to mention gafieira, the all Brazilian samba version of the lambada, a much later version with Caribbean influence. Gafieira is exquisitely beautiful, as intrincate and seductive as tango. Check it out. Great article, by the way.

There are many kinds of dances in Brazil. This country is so large.It received foreign influences from different origins.They are all reflected in its culture.
