No doubt the headlines said it better than I ever could: "France Bids Brazil Adieu," "2002 Champs Caught Off Guard by Loss," "Parreira Accepts Blame for Brazil Defeat." But wait! Hold on a minute...Brazil lost? What's wrong with this picture? Can this really be happening?

Ahhhh....ahhhh...... ! Is this what you learn in your military schools : Four U.S. soldiers in Iraq are charged with participation in the "rape and murder of a young Iraqi woman and three members of her family," the U.S. military said Sunday.
I suppose you are at war......against your own sexuality !!!!!!!!!! Are you in Iraq just for sexual tourism ?????? Cheaper than U.S. whores I presume !!!!
Be proud of your performance !

World Cup or European Cup????? written by Brazilian in NY,
July 11, 2006
Yes, we Brazilians did not play our best against France. The coach that we should have picked was also playing in the Final 4 with Portugal, so these are certainly our mistakes.
However consider this: - If that game was in South America, would the outcome have been the same? - How come South America has not hosted a cup in over 25 years? (we certainly have the stadiums) - How come Europe has already hosted 4 cups in the last 25 years, aren't they supposed to alternate? - Why were there only 5 South American teams and 14 European teams picked for the cup? - The truth is that all of the intangible factors always lean towards Europe.
If the Brazil vs France place had taken place in South American soil, I know the outcome would have been different. Instead, Europe seams to always have the games in their soil, with their teams picked, and quite frankly, with the referees as well.
Europe has never one a world cup outside of Europe. Brazil has won in North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. Even with all of that built in advantage we still have the most cups in the world.
The winning streak in a world cup had only been 6 wins in a row, prior to Brazil's record 11 game win. It's extremely hard to win 12 in a row, because at some point, your team will play bad. We did play poorly against France, but if all of the intangibles weren't stacked against us (such as home court advantage) we would have won.
It's time for South America to again have a Cup in it's soil, and it's time for the European hypocrisy to stop.
Joe Lopes, you should remember where you were born and your roots, and show a little more respect to the country you were raised in. It doesn't matter how long people like you and I have lived in this great U.S. country, you never turn your back in your roots. Our players tried, and they weren't able to double the previous world record of 12 straight World Cup games in a row. The real problem is how the World Cup is consistently stacked in favor of the European teams, not that our stars and fellow country men did not have the needed drive.

Its the European Cup because they "paid " the Brazilians for it as they would have the Columbians ,Chileans or Argentinians.Euros,or dollars, chateaus or villas,Spain,France,England,Germany Italy, Sweden or etc.etc.... Heaving bosums, blonde hair and blue eyes.Understanding what paid means is not difficult.Does anyone really think that it is acceptable to Europeans that they hold themselves up to such high standards of civilization culture and accomplishment and can't succeed against what they consider to be a 3rd world country in such a celebrated sport as football! I would not hold my breath on Brazil not being bested in the World Cup record soon....
