"So, what's it like to do business in Brazil?" As a U.S. lawyer who has represented various clients that have established businesses, bought companies and made investments in Brazil, I am frequently asked this question. My response is always the same. Doing business in Brazil can be complicated, confusing, time consuming and at times downright frustrating.

pricey, taxes have gone up, rent, even to buy a space or lot is expensive, but to
obtain the business license its very easy. I thought opening a business in brazil would be a lot easier but from what it seems it does look complicated. Do I need the license first or the location, how much is rent, how much would I spend on property taxes. Do I have to
be a resident or citizen? I have a million and one ?'s Some of my ?'s have been answered from this website but I need more info.
