Brazilian biofuel There is a new participant in the international deliberations on global warming and agrofuels: the biotechnology industry. The corporate giants of the genetics industry propose new technologies, including genetically modified trees, second generation cellulosic ethanol, and synthetic biology, to wean society off fossil fuels and fight climate change.

Monsanto, Syngenta & Co Jump on Biofuel Bandwagon in Brazil

These companies know which side of the bread has butter and no wonder that they "jumped into the Bio-fuel Bandwagon". They smell not only the ethanol vapor, but also the $$$$.

While your comments are eagerly awaited, let me ask you a question: Do you think that Ch.c has bought Syngenta and is planning to "Jump" into the bandwagon?
Energy Independence
written by poetryman69, April 29, 2008
Anyone who wants cheaper fuel prices needs to ask his representatives
at the local, state, and federal levels, what are their plans and
policies for Energy Independence. If they don't have any, don't
vote for them. They are costing you money and in the future they
may cost you your freedom. We need to stop paying dictators,
terrorists, and tyrants oil money. We have all the coal, oil,
nuclear power, and liquid natural gas we need to be come
energy independent. In addition, a healthy investment in
alternative sources will keep Energy Independent for the
foreseeable future.
To Jon !!!!!!!

Funny how Brazilians caress their navels on "their" biofuels and/or grains, and then criticize the suppliers enabling Brazilians to produce these biofuels and/or grains !
Well....that is typically Brazilian....after all !!!!

You probably have not read my several previous comments :
Buying the shares of input suppliers is far more rewarding than investing in the companies producing the goods !

Just have a look at 8 years prices on Monsanto, Syngenta, John Deere....etc etc....and then look at the price of grains, sugar, coffee or whatever you like...even at today "high" prices !

Monsanto stock price was multiplied....by around 20 TIMES !!!!
Neither the grains nor the biofuels price....did that....by far far far !!!!

It reminds me how proud you are for your flex fuel cars.
So much that the vast majority of Brazilians pretend the technology was developed by brazilians engineers.
Nothing of it is true.
The Flex fuel technology was developed by a German company : BOSCH !!!!!

"The Brazilian Ministry for Science and Technology has awarded Bosch its innovation prize for the Flex-Fuel engine management system. The “Technological Innovation Finep Award” was presented in the country’s capital, Brasilia.
The award-winning Flex Fuel technology developed by Bosch permits vehicles to be fueled by gasoline, by alcohol, or by any mixture of the two fuels."

Therefore you have a proof once more of.....HOW BRAZILIANS CHEAT, LIE AND HIDE....THE SIMPLE TRUTH....ON A DAILY BASIS !!!!!

Enjoy your Tropical Mud !!!!!!

There again, you are addressing your message to the wrong person-as usual.

I don't think that Jon, the Canuck is in the tropical mud. The snowy mud in Ont must be thawing and Jon must be enjoying the Spring weather.

So you stop harassing Jon and pay attention to what he says. No need to be hostile to Jon.
