i would like to see more about the deep roots music in brazil like coco, maracatu, samba de roda...things about slave melodies and dances from the past centuries and the living snapshots that exist in brazil today that show that. brazil is rich in that aspect.
there are actualy some film done by an expedition of photographers, filmers and musicologists in the 1930"s that have some absolutly riveting stuff about brazilian dance and music in the northeast.i wish they would release it on dvd, some is on cd now , but, the little film ive seen on tv is is fascinating
the truth is, i dont see how you could have huge discusions about brazil and not mention its rich , incredible culture, especialy the afro brazilian culture and its contribution to brazilian life.
the brazilin culture is absolutly some of the best of what it has to offer the world.its certainly one of the reasons out of several that i have chosen to live in brazil and it has delivered every step of the way.
