I left Brazil almost 10 years ago. It was the best way to avoid an abusive relationship of almost 16 years. Everybody talks about woman being abused in Brazil but nobody talks about the number of men that die every year in Brazil when they go to visit his child. Nobody talks of the number of men which stop to work because mental illness caused by women in Brazil.
Many of my acquaintance were murders by the wives or the boy friend of the wife. One day my wife told me to pick up my daughter, when I arrived there, her boy friend pointed me a gun. He did not kill me because my ex father in law saw the situation and yell with him. After such experience a lot people advised me to forget this child. Even in the court the Judge asked to my ex-wife leave the room and told me. For now on forget that you had a child with this woman. Since them, I try to keep communication with my daughter; I hope that she does not marry because she as bully teenager girl and she will make anyone unhappy around her. In the school she uses to call teacher stupid, idiot, ends the class work before everybody and start to tease the classmates. I called her and when I spoke about her attitude she said f**k you and turned off the phone.
Before left Brazil I spoke with a Cop Woman in Brazil in a Bus Station for a couple of hours. She told me that all efforts to protect women against violence in Brazil are bulls**t. Waist of public money, the woman Friday evening start to annoy the husband, when is 10 or 11 pm the man is already upset and then he beat the wife. She calls the police, the man is arrested. Monday morning he is released once he needs to work. Then she can go to dance and f**k around Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the miserable husband is Jailed.
Brazilian women cop, during the day is cop and prostitute during the night. I had some dates with such kind of women and I knew their world. Even some states end the program of hiring women to use in the police because was so many problems.
I was born and I grew up in Brazil. Do not come and tell me that Brazilian women are abused. I saw with my eyes since I was a child; the husband goes to work and out from front door while the lover comes to back door. And such behaviour happens in all levels of Brazilian society. Some Brazilian women are so hot that while the husband is working they are f**king with teenagers of 12 years old on.
I have a brother which is now retired from the marines; his relationship with his wife was so terrible that the marines demanded divorce. If a military organization demands the divorce from his men, something is going very bad in this country.
And if you still thinking that Brazilian women are abuse, I would like that my mom could come from the cave and marry you for you to feel what a Brazilian woman is. Good luck with your endeavour to defend what does not need to be defending.

Note: There are some good women in Brazil. It is difficult to find but if you search carefully in 20 years you can find a fistfull of them.

Yes, there a lot of women in Brazil who are abused by husbands and boyfriends. Yes, there a lot of men in Brazil ( a new generation) who are open minded and don't feel threatened by women's rights to choose what is good for them and for their children.It's all a matter of economincs. Give the women more economic power and they will free themselves from abusive relationships.I have known many divorced Brazilian women who leave Brazilian opressive conditions to find confort and healthy relationships abroad.

Violence against women is a problem throughout the world. Unfortunately, it's worst in Brazil, according to a recent report of the Organisation for Defending Victims of Violence (ODVV). Twenty-five per cent of Brazilian women are victims of violence. The majority of the victims decide to complain only after the tenth attack. Also, 70 per cent of the victims were killed by their own husbands. How "violence" is defined from one study to the next, I don't know. Whether it is worse in Brazil or not is not important. It's important to realize it is bad in Brazil and in other places and that it must stop.

Everyone wants to turn the attention away from their problems by pointing to someone else. For example, someone posting how bad violence against women is in the US in response to a report that tells how bad violence against women is in Brazil. Better to recognize the problem and do something about it. The same goes for people in the US who want to believe that there's no problem in the US because they can cite that it's not as bad as in some other place. It is a waste of time comparing which place is less bad for women, except to the extent that it places some measure of shame on the country that has the distinction of being worst. Like the post says above, people need to see the problem and put and end to it.

Men must:

1. Be more sensitive to thier partners' needs.

2. Pay attention to their partners.

3. Listen to their partners.

4. If hit by a woman, walk away.

The first three might be difficult, but the fourth is easy.

Didn't we all learn in grammar school that the argument "He started it" is a loser? You lose the moral high ground when you participate in violence -- particularly if your opponent is a woman. "She started it" is a real loser.

If a man feels abused in his relationship, he should leave. Most men have the economic and physical power to do so. Don't cry about your spousal and child support either. You decided to get married and have children. Deal with it.

I never saw any violence! In Boston, college kids go out to celebrate the Patriots win in the Super Bowl. They beat each other, set cars on fire! What's wrong with them? Each society seems to have its own specific rules of what is tolerated or accepted or what is not.Any thoughts?

Woman Accused of Attacking Snoring Husband Thu Jun 16, 8:19 PM ET



FARGO, N.D. - A woman upset about her husband's snoring is accused of stabbing him with a pen and hitting him with a dumbbell to wake him up. DeAnn Miller-Boschert, 45, was charged Thursday with simple assault, a misdemeanor.

Police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said the woman first poured water on her husband early Thursday morning, but that did not wake him up.

"She then stabbed him with a pen in the arm twice," Skuza said. "After he went back to sleep after the pen thing, she woke him up again with a workout weight."

Skuza said the man called police from a convenience store at around 4 a.m. Thursday. He was not seriously hurt and did not seek medical attention, Skuza said.

Skuza said the man had "two fresh puncture marks" from the pen but showed no signs of being hit with the 3-pound dumbbell.

"He did have some scratches on his shoulders and arms that he said were from previous attacks," Skuza said.

Officers said Miller-Boschert told them she wanted her husband to sleep on his side, to prevent him from snoring. She was taken to the Cass County Jail pending a court appearance Friday.

Skuza said the man returned to his home.

"I assume he went back to sleep," Skuza said.

SAN JOSE, California (AP) -- A convicted child m******r jailed in California may have committed sex crimes against thousands of victims, police said Thursday after finding computers, notebooks and meticulous, handwritten lists of boys' names and apparent codes for various sex acts.

San Jose Police Lt. Scott Cornfield described 63-year-old Dean Arthur Schwartzmiller as "one of the most active child m******rs we've ever seen."

During a search of his bedroom in San Jose, police discovered binders full of child porn and numerous logs with lists of more than 36,000 children's names -- mostly boys -- and codes that appear to indicate how he abused them.

"If one-tenth of these numbers are accurate, we're looking at hundreds of victims in a number of states. The reason we want to tell the world about this is because we believe he's been involved in child molestations in a number of countries," Cornfield said.

Schwartzmiller was being held without bail on one count of aggravated sexual assault on a child and six counts of lewd and lascivious conduct on a child, with each count alleging multiple victims. He was arrested in Washington state late last month and sent to San Jose on June 7.

A message left for his public defender was not immediately returned Thursday.

Authorities said Schwartzmiller apparently gained the trust of victims and parents by working as a home renovation contractor. San Jose police got involved after he allegedly befriended at least two boys in the city with gifts, invited them to his house for video games and movies, and molested them.

Schwartzmiller apparently did not register as a sex offender, so his history did not appear in the "Megan's Law" databases in California or other states, authorities said.

"It's as shocking to me as to you," said Sgt. Tom Sims, a supervisor with the department's child exploitation division. "I've never seen anything like this."

Although police said Schwartzmiller appears to have spent much of the past 30 years in California, he has been arrested on child molestation charges in New York, Arkansas and Washington. He also served prison time in Idaho for child molestation in the late 1970s, and is wanted in Oregon on sexual assault charges involving a minor.

In the 1980s, he lived in Brazil, and was extradited from there to Idaho again in the later part of the decade to serve more time, Cornfield said. Police believe he may have victims in Brazil and Mexico.

Authorities also arrested Schwartzmiller's roommate, another convicted child m******r wanted for violating parole in Oregon. Fred Everts was charged with child molestation in San Jose.

Furthermore, neither men nor women need to be 'equal' to each other in order to be happy with each other.

That equality can be achieved in, say, matters to do with pay. After all, they argue, is it not 'equality' for men to be paid the same rates as women for doing the same jobs?

Well. The answer is No!

It might be fair. And it might make people happy. But it does not follow that such a thing would be a mark of 'equality'.

The point about the piece was to demonstrate that the more that one drills down in search for 'equality', the more hopeless does the search become.

For example, if men and women are doing the same job for the same number of hours, then a superficial analysis would suggest that they should get paid the same amount.

But let us look at a simple job, where skill and expertise are fairly irrelevant to the efficiency with which the job is done - though, quite frankly, there cannot be many jobs like this.

Let's go for dishing out tea in a canteen.

Should men and women get paid the same for dishing out tea in a canteen if they work for the same hours and if they both do the job equally well?

Well, of course, I would say Yes.

But so-called 'equality' fanatics, like the feminists, might well disagree, as they keep drilling down in search for 'inequality'..

They might discover, for example, the following.

1. They might discover that more men than women do this job. And from this they could conclude that 'equality' between men and women has not been achieved.

2. The statistics might show that the men spend more of their money on personal entertainment, and less on the family and children, and that, therefore, women should be paid more - often by sneaking the money back to them through the tax system.

3. The statistics might show that women have to take more days off for childcare reasons, and so they ought to be compensated in some way for this.

4. The statistics might show that women have to pay more for their clothing ...

And so on and on it can go.

My point is that the search for 'equality' is never-ending, and that in the process of searching for this impossible goal, the stirring up of male hatred is a major consequence - and, indeed, a purposeful aim.

And given that 'equality' can never be achieved (even in simple matters to do with pay) the never-ending search for it by the feminists in all sorts of areas will forever involve the stirring up of hatred towards men in all sorts of areas.

And seasoned men's activists will know that whatever statistical differences are found between men and women, the feminists will always manage to stir up hatred towards men on the basis of them.

And so, for example, if more men are found working in this canteen than women, the feminists will argue that there is a 'glass ceiling' that prevents women from taking up this job, but if there are more women than men working in it, they will argue that the pay is too low compared to other more male-dominated jobs!

Either way, they will stir up hatred towards men.

And let me tell you what would happen if women throughout the nation - as a whole - ever earned more than men in their jobs; i.e. the alleged gender wage gap was reversed.

The feminists would argue that the women were paying more in taxes, and that this was unfair!

Let's start with the obvious: a man walking the streets at night tends to be looked-at by women as a possible criminal. A woman doing the same tends to be regarded by other women as someone who might need protection.

Nobody should be forced to put up with repeated, offensive, unwanted sexual advances in the workplace. If your boss says "have sex with me or your fired", then yes, that's what the law was meant to protect against. Any man who does that is a jackal. But almost all guys have had it painfully made clear to them that if a female co-worker so much as THINKS he's looked at her the wrong way, she has the right to sue him or get him fired!

Men have that right too, but if we try to exercise it, we'll most-likely be laughed-at! If you say you want to sue a woman because you think she leered at you, no one will take you seriously! Is that equality??

How about divorce settlements? In the average settlement, your ex-wife has a right to between HALF and a THIRD of everything you own, no matter how much money she earns! (That varies from state to state, but that's pretty-much what the overall picture is like. There are reams of documents to back this up.)

And she gets automatic custody of the kids! Divorce courts are almost always sympathetic to the woman, regardless of the circumstances of the divorce or who initiated it (and it is women who initiate more than 75% of all divorces, by the way)...

If you think that the law tries to be fair- I personally know a bunch of good, honest, NICE men who have been totally screwed-sideways by their vindictive ex-wives (not 'screwed' in the good way, mind you) because divorce laws automatically puts men at a disadvantage... My friend Bill, he's a really great guy. He got a divorce because his wife cheated on him multiple times... and he can see his son only once a week.

A woman can come-into a marriage with nothing, and come out of it five years later with half her husband's belongings- what a great deal that is! For the woman, at least.

Is it equality to shut fathers out of their children's lives? It might seem fair to the woman that she has soveriegnty over a child she's carried in her womb for nine months, but it's not always fair to the child!

Howabout murder? In murder cases the courts frequently assume that any woman driven to murder must have been out of her mind- since she could surely not have committed so heinous an act on her own.

Howabout laws concerning rape? Rape is a crime, and the offenders deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Men and women are different creatures and will always be different. Equality is certainly not in the eye of the beholder. The only way to resolve the equality issue is that women who want all the rights in the name of equality should marry date and men who are weak, less educated and poor, who want to lead a life of leisure at their wives' expense (very few women would stand for that). They should take up jobs that require longer work days, irregular/night work hours, more stressful/dangerous/risky work, longer driving distance from home, etc. Then they certainly will earn a lot more and be willing to cover for colleagues on maternity/paternity leave. You don't lend much credibility to your argument when you cite statistics issued by an interested party. In fact, that tends to make me suspicious enough to default on the opposite conclusion -- that the problem is not nearly as bad as is being presented.

I have Master's degree and I agree with everything written about the women by real men of reason. I have also servd the US Army for 21 years and travelled all over the world. My wife of 28 years fits this category of women. We have 3 wonderful
grown up adult children. I am retired military. She gets my entire ( 100 % ) paycheck every month for the last 9 years. She has custody of all the children, has the house, 4 cars that I bought plus, about $ 100,000 in the savings account. She refused to have sex with me for the last 12 years. No married man should have to live such a lonely, miserable life.
