when I last visited Monte Verde the small stores along the main road surely fir your description - I am now trying to locate a small company selling smoked trout and Erdinger beer but the mail address seems to have changed - can you pls. help? alas - I am not braziliophile nor knowledgable in portuguese so have not found a way into the local yellowpages yet...
