Motoboys in traffic in São Paulo, BrazilA cachorro louco (kaSHOhu LOku), rabid dog, is a motoboy (mOHtoboy) in Brazil. The word motoboy comes from moto (mAWtoo), a colloquial word for motorcycle, and boy, from office boy. Motoboys are lightly or gravely injured or die every day in the city I live in, São Paulo.

Thanks, interesting article. I've noticed that a large proportion of 'motoboys' in London seem to be Brazilian, good to find out why. Is the death rate really that high though?
