The Senate chairman, José Sarney, is following in the tradition of his predecessors and abusing the power entrusted by his office to enrich himself and his relatives. As this is how he has been operating in half a century of political life we should not be surprised, but perhaps we could expect higher standards from a man who was President of the Republic for five years and has been Senate chairman on two previous occasions.

then cut off his familys land and companys holdings .
remove him from office and all his family from government post he had a way of puting them in office .
then make him say i am a sorry son of a bi-ch but you kept electing me even when you knew i was a theif , womanszer , drunk .only in for the money and power .
of course you could do that in any country in the world to any politican and it would be true.
AGAIN I SAY DONT RELECT ANY ONE LET THEM ONLY HAVE 2 TERMS IN THE HOUSE AND GO HOME .
BUT THEY HAVE TO BE ON THE SAME MEDICAL , RETIRMENT , HEALTH CARE AS THE REST OF THE PEOPLE HE WAS ELECTID TO REPRESENT .
