With municipal elections getting near, Brazil's PSDB party is showing great potential in several state capital mayor races throughout the country. In Brazil's largest city, São Paulo, the PSDB candidate José Serra is tied for first place against Marta Suplicy from the PT. In a run-off election Serra should be the winner.
