You all need to stop responding to \"keol\" you are only encouraging his rant and insulting many good Americans and Brasilians in the process. What blows my mind is how all the left wing, peace, love, one world community, it takes a village types, are so quick to degrade and defame those with whom you disagree. And I am not refer to \"keol\" only. Calling names, using outlandish rethoric and degrading entire peoples is unbecoming and does not speak highly of anyone. I love Brasil, its people, its culture and especially it\'s football. Having lived there and in other third world countries, Brasil has great potential. Look at India, it is fast becoming a regional power second only to China and Japan. Brasil has that same potential, if they only stopped blame everyone else for their problems. - Guest

So that the aid that is sent to these Countries can be \"kicked Back\" into the coffers of Corporations that helped put George W Bush into office, which money will then be kicked back into some political campaign account, to elect another George W Bush into office to do the same thing over again!! - Guest

Don\'t forget....I Am Your Master… Yesterday, Today and Forever. So warship me all you want!

Seriously now…enough said! However, it seems you have somewhat of an obscured vision as to why the entire world community has certain negative perceptions of the United States (please no jealousy argument – it has been over used):

1) Historical facts…The US is the only nation in the world that for the past 100 and some years, has been involved in some type of war, covert operation and the like. Dirty deeds.

2) Democracy… The US has no patent rights on that principle. In fact, the US is not what it is crack-up to be. Freedom huh? In America, freedom is directly correlated to the size of your wallet! The rich can murder someone and walk free (i.e. OJ Simpson), or, the poor shoplifts a 50 cents items and is sentenced to 5 years in prison (actual case in Tennessee). Let’s don’t even bring the so called “Patriotic Act,” because your freedom has been seriously reduced my friend. Democracy…riiight. Please, don’t kid yourself!

3) Loan Forgiveness…Come again!!!! Most indebted nations (98% of them!) to the world-bank are still paying on interest alone, the principal borrowed has long been gone. How much profit does your greed want? 1000%, perhaps 1000000%. Pleeease, have mercy on your fellow human beings!

4) The US is so serious about controlling WMDs. Interesting enough, the only country that has unleashed the killing of thousands in Japan during WWII, with two consecutive atomic bombs. Is that the moral stance you stand on?

These are just some items that came to mind…If one digs a little deeper, it would use up all the available storage space in the Brazzil.com’s web servers. Accept, the US is out of step with the majority of the world community…To commit an error is human, to insist on it, it is plainly stupid!

Good day,

keol

PS Enough...I am back to work!

Keol, will you be our next leader?

I don\'t know why anyone would argue with Keol\'s magnanimous assessment of the situation. I, for one, think he is spot on. Of course it\'s \'synopses\' that he is deficient in, not synapses. (Synopses are plural for synopsis, which for or non non-native English speakers is the point where a nerve impulse fails to pass in so many of the above posts.) Of course evil American Capitalists tempted and set up the good-in-their-hearts Workers Party officials. They are just human. I don\'t live in a nice house because I worked hard and rose above challenges. I live in a big house because my corporate comrades are setting up innocent leaders in other countries in order to squelch their progress. And I say keep up the good work. The more jobs that are taken over seas, the more time I have to work on my blog and suppress all lesser countries.

Keol was right when he said Robert Mugabe was the best thing that ever happened to Zimbabwe. I don\'t think we Americans should worry about such things when nearly one tenth of one percent of our citizens live in hunger. Only one fourth of their population is starving to death. That is not a gringo\'s problem: even if that gringo is African-American.

I can\'t believe I didn\'t vote for Bush after all, he is our chimp after all. Living in a country where I can voice my opinion about the ineptness of our leader isn\'t a good thing! It is miserable compared to living in a country where I can blame other people for their mistakes. I hate taking responsibility for a nation that elected a moron to power. Let us blame France for bribing select interest groups in order to get him in power, only to trick him into foreign policy blunders on the grandest scale. That is the kind of country we need.

Why should we send aid to Tsunami victims, forgive debts in Africa, or send peace keeping forces to other countries? They don\'t want our money and they don’t want us there. They are much better off with people like Mugabe and Sadaam. What were we thinking on that one? As Keol so brilliantly pointed out, people don\'t want money. Everyone in every non-capitalistic society would be happy to do nothing and let the government handle every aspect of their daily lives. Eastern Europe is in a state of poverty and corruption, not because of a failed communist experiment, but because the US is only concerned in cell phones and reality TV.

Keol is so indelibly correct in all his arguments I think America should resort back to the isolationist strategy that made possible both World Wars. Let us lay back in our easy chairs, sip lemonade on our porches with our trash free streets and let the work be done off shore. Until whoever wants to conquer us rolls in. They will find a nation of highly articulate self-aware people who can\'t change an oil filter but maintain wonderful Web sites.

I almost forgot about our unquenchable desire for war and conquest. I would be in my cage and my uniquely American character trait of war lust would fulminate inside me. How could I be so stupid that I needed Keol to help me see reality? I would say to our new communist over lords,

\"Are we so different? Is your inferior brain any different from mine? The answer is yes, now come here so I can hit it with a mallet.

I was just kidding about that. You and Keol have shown me movies about American war lust but why don\'t we sit down and I will show you a softer side of America. Then... Blam! That\'s not a projector; it\'s a spinning blade shooter. Bwaa hahaha. Okay, I guess that wouldn\'t work now that you know...

But did you ever try to extend me the hand of peace? If you did, I would rip it off and eat it.\"

In conclusion: Keol, will you be our next leader, oh enlightened one? - Guest

I spend some time reading the sheat above
hou you can be so ignorant?
you think usa is guilty for brazilian corruption?
They are not!
USA want\'s a stable brazil, to sel their garbage for us, not destroy the political stability of our country.
Corruption is a cancer in our politicy since Pedro alvares cabral land in Bahia.
Education of our people is the only way to save brasil from corruption.
Elect semi alphabetized people as the president of the repuplic does not help anyway. - Guest
