I love the internet, it gives us golden opportunities like this: commenting on a topic raised 6 years ago! Wonderful!
well, after all this time, most of us have noticed some Americans feeling ashamed about their nation and its goofy team of presidents. Leave them with their issues and lets still welcome those who want to come here and watch the hotties in (micro) bikinis. I don´t understand why the animosity over the guys who claim loving Brazil. I know a lot of Brazilians who claim to love USA, Paris, Japan...and I´ve never killed any of them or even saw anybody starting an argument over it.

Here, kids, is still a place, like it always has been. We still have beautiful and ugly people, and the proportion for both cases are quite average.
Actually, in a few years, this conversation´s gonna become pure nonsense, due to the GLOBALIZATION...that´s why a Brazilian can get into your conversation, because it already has started!;) - Brazilian from São Paulo

I am a female traveller. Originally from Brazil.
You guys make me laugh if all your non-sense...
Brazil is such a large country, extremely rich in terms of diversity and culture... so many 'KNOWLEDGEBLE PEOPLE' try so hard to find a label that fits it all...
I would say, when in Brazil do exactly what the Brazilians tend to do... be friendly, spontaneous and mind your own business... ;) - Patricia

Re: Brasileiras are Best by Bill (on August 08-2009)

@Bill, I couldn't AGREE more with you comments; each and every point you made is unassailably true. I have made exactly the same observations and reached exactly the same conclusions you did. However despite your candor, I feel even you were too gentle when it comes to American(or Canadian) women.

The truth is, American women and society has been subjected to a sustained campaign of savage vicious hate-mongering feminism that has totally distorted those women's attitudes and expectations about life. A campaigned financed and propagated by an increasingly incompetent, greedy and arrogant elite (carnegie, rockefellar, and other social-engineering fools), that has been trying to double the American workforce and tax-base by propagandizing about female emancipation (as being that women should become distorted, overly aggressive, and demanding copies of men in order to be considered equal and that all feminine tendencies are retro-grade, undesirable and weak). Of course the manipulative bast-rds that propagated this garbage were never interested in equality & human-rights, but rather, only to increase the number of workers that they could exploit/bleed/tax/sponge-off.

So naturally, American women have become so loaded with a sense of grievance and entitlement on top of the many neurotic racial hang ups they grew up with that most of the world considers them to be too vicious, demanding or "messed-up" to be worthwhile as a marriage partner (unless the suitor's objective is to acquire a green card ;) ).

WHEREAS in Brasil and other parts of the world, Women are still Women (and proud of it) no matter if they have a post-graduate degree in medicine or domestic vocational skills. They're friendly, feminine and fantastic. And put aside the FACT that Brazilian women ARE physically MUCH more attractive that American women (due to the racial mix and genetic diversity, you so eloquently described in your post) BUT also due in large part to their gentle, attractive, feminine and confident personalities. I clearly remember Brasilian women, who were in fact average in looks, but where irresistibly attractive due to their positive and loving attitudes. Contrast that with Canadian bombshells I've dated, who, although physically natural beauties, STANK of the vicious, narcissistic, egotistical man-abusing attitudes of typical of the North-American feminists. I can't tell how quickly their physical looks became repugnant to me and how quickly I got rid of them.

So beauty is both attitude and physical, and in Brazil, where woman ARE physically much more beautiful than the masculine 'women' of America, the Brasileras also possess a deep inner beauty that few American women can match.

America may be great country in many areas (creative, inventive, optimistic, generous and well-meaning), but when it comes to social maturity, moderation and culture, the country is completely out-classed and under-developed. So thank God America (nor s-h-i-t-t-y self-righteous Canada, nor "has-been-and done-for" UK nor New Zealand, nor stupid France) is/(are) no longer in a position to export the worst of their failed social experiment to the rest of the World,

AND

Thank God for Brazil, Brazilian culture, and Brazilian women. - NameWithheldPendingInvestigation

Whenever people construct arguments to suit their own personal hangups and biases they tend to take the few outliers and exaggerate them so that they become the average. I'm an American who has lived in three different countries and visited multiples more including S. Africa, the U.S., Argentina, Germany, and Italy. Like Obama, I'm an international American.

On average, Brasilieras are more beautiful than women from other countries for a multitude of reasons including but not limited to the following: (i) many are of mixed heritage (African/indigenous/portuguese/german/polish/italian) so they have some of the best physical attributes the human race can offer and aren’t prejudiced for the most part because of this fact. (ii) the rainbow of beauty is further diversified from moca to cocoa to morenas to blondes and you can see combinations in plethora there that don’t exist anywhere else. It’s like having a crayon box of 300 crayons vs the usual box of 8 you used to get in kindergarten. Where else can you see an Indian looking dark skinned woman with green eyes or a blonde with cocoa skin and a bundao that you can actually talk to?, (iv) the national culture promotes good health including taking care of your body and going to the gym, (v) the fashion is diverse and fits the feminine physique very, very well vs a one-skinny/flat-size-fits-all fashion in the U.S. make most women less attractive because they don’t fit the mold, (vi) the overall atmosphere of the country is relaxed so it puts visitors in a good mood, and that’s partially attributed to (vii) the amicable, relaxed, and humorous personalities that brasileiras have that are higher than other countries especially the U.S.

When you go to Rio or S.P. you see men from all over the world fascinated by Brasileiras and hooked by their personalities. I’ve dated beautiful women of all races in the U.S. and guys would agree that as soon as a nasty personality or anal attitude rears its ugly head that woman loses all of her beauty and she becomes less of a woman. Don’t forget that attraction is mental. Many of these women have racial biases or preferences as well which makes them less desirable because internally they’re not all there. I will admit that if a woman is unattainable then she is less attractive excluding examples such as celebrities. The fascinating thing is that many of the women walking down the street or working in stores in Brasil are as beautiful as actresses or models while being much more attainable. I’ve seen a “black” Catherine Zeta-Jones in Brasil… the diversity of beauty there is truly remarkable. Some women in the U.S. are also as beautiful as actresses or models in places such as NYC, Los Angeles, or Miami, but the majority of those women make it a sport of being unapproachable, mean spirited, or socially awkward unless you’re a celebrity or in a certain social caste determined by race, pedigree, & income. In the end those women end up old, single, and bitter and you can see the comments of many (some ghost writing as men) here. - Bill

It's really quite funny that there should be so much animosity toward Americans. During and after the American Civil War, there was a large influx of American Southerners into Brazil. Those bloodlines still exist and have diffused widely into the Brazilian genome. - Lauro

If you felt unconfortable, I don't think it was Brazil's culture fault... I think you should go to a psychiatrist.
There is a lot of women in brazil (like me!) that don't dress tiny bikinis or small clothes all the time, and they live pretty well.
It is too bad the website agreed to post such a poor article like that. People that REALLY like to travel and meet different cultures should be more open-mind than that. Besides, a little more knowledge about how to write a good article would be good..
How do you want to compare the way of dressing in Egypt to the way in Rio? Its just COMPLETELY different situations... :O

I just heard about this site today and I felt very frustrated reading this...
I am sorry, but all the article sounds very poor and stupid. - Wendy

I am British and am marrying a Brazilian girl. To describe only how she looks: She is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. She is part indigenous which gives her great natural form. She has the type of ass that simply doesn't exist outside of Brazil. I mean PERFECT. No orange peel. Round and firm as you like and for a slim girl this is unheard of outside of Brazil. He teeth are white, her skin is golden brown and she proudly wears her skimpy bikini; when sun bathing (in my shorts, which I might add, do not look out of place as the original writer describes)we often talk about the gringas laughable swimming suites on the beach. Perhaps if the changed your fat-filled diet and did some exercise, you wouldn't need to wear a full coverage bathing suite. There is a reason why the girls in Brazil wear skimpy bikinis; to get a decent all over tan! How are you gonna get a tan in a full bodied swim suite?! They also leave there bikinis in exactly the same spot whenever they sun bath; this creates the famous lines; which drive men wild! Women in Brazil are certainly liberated. I think it's great that even the fatties wear bikinis; they are not so self-conscious as American/European girls.

I am the envy of every guy who I passes me! ;D - Nik

Brazilian Women are Overrated

No, it's not because I don't have an amazing body like most of them do and I'm envious. When it comes to their overall beauty, ummm, I don't think they got it going on like most people claim they do. Sure, we've had a surge of Brazilian supermodels here in the US, but does this really mean they've been in hiding or does it simply mean that the American's ideal of beauty has changed and is now including more "exotic" women? Being aesthetically beautiful does not entail prancing around in a thong, wearing grotesquely tight clothing, and being trained to use one's sexuality to get what she wants in life! (LMAO) OK, sure there are beautiful Brazilians, sure, but there are beautiful women EVERYWHERE. It's funny because Brazilians seem to be one of the most nationalistic groups of people I've met overall (worst than the French). And when I say this, I don't mean it in a good way either. As far as these American men who are obsessed with the country, well we should take a look at them to see who they are. Either they're young guys who vacation there to go to the beach, get drunk, and look for easy one-night-stands or they're middle-age men who want to have some fun. They see that the Brazilian woman is much more "sensual" (or slutty, depends on who's describing them) and open about her sexuality and this is not something they're used to. They love it! OK, so there may be some exceptions, but for the most part these are the two groups of men who go to Brazil. I don't write this with disdain, but this is what I've seen. This is not something I stress over, but it's ridiculous for people to say keep praising these women as if they were all goddesses or Victoria's Secret material. Overall, many of them have nice bodies, but only a small fraction have attractive faces. 90% of them are BUTTER: Everything looks good "but her" face! Especially in the South! Ewww, some of those faces are just horrid...we call the Southern Brazilians "witch faces".

I do, however, think that Adriana Lima is one of the most striking women I've ever see. Now, she's beautiful, but it's just too bad that most Brazilian women don't look like that. ;D - Christy

we see the Brazilian inferiority complex kick in... I have never met a Brazilian that can handle criticism of any kind without laying the blame on someone else (usually the USA). The jealousy makes me sick, always complaining about the USA, but loving American culture. Hypocritical assholes.

The majority of Brazilians I have met are dishonest lying cheaters. As for beauty? BULLSHIT, unless you like mud-blood freakshows or buck toothed Portuguese gnome people with fat asses and no tits.

Any person from the 1st world that has had the misfortune to visit this 3rd world shit hole will agree with me when I say that Brazil is the stinking asshole of the world. - Gringo

You all have some nice ideas and thoughts but racism is for the birds. We all are human and all this racism-nationalist bull crap will be the downfall of us all.NO ONE RACE IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER,WE ALL ARE RELATED AND IF WE DON'T RECOGNIZE THIS SOONER OR LATER WHERE WILL WE BE DIVIDED. AND DIVIDED WE FALL. :(
Now,I was born and raised in America spent most of my summer with Brazilians.Although they were Brazilian they treated me as if I was a long time friend and i fell in love with how they treated me and my friend.I have never been to Brazil but of course I would love to go to a different country but we all have different opinions and thoughts,Racism is not cool and never will be cool.Hey boys were of different races and so am I but never have they called me out of my name or made fun of me being native american. There are beautiful people all over the world and just because you look white or asian doesnt make you any prettier than the person beside, behind or in front of you.Attitudes make people ugly
the media has stapled the images of beauty in our head when in fact their conception is not right.Yes this woman had some clothing issues but be comfortable in what you wear screw what anyone else thinks people will talk about you regardless. take this how you want but there are nice people everywhere and there are jerks everywhere too. - Sana

I can honestly say that I like Latinas, look at the beautiful Shakira not all women have to be tall to be beautiful, I'm afraid I have been to Brazil and have seen some very beautiful woman but also some very ugly ones there Is a lot of AIDS and poverty the one's I feel sorry for are the children. Italian woman can also be very beautiful and they are not all dark skinned and I haven't seen any with hair on their lips they have tight pussy unlike the girls from Brazil maybe it's because I have a very thick and very long 22cm cock that means the girls from Brasil put It around a lot and do spread AIDS and give It to the children they carry Inside of them and yes you are very likely to get robbed If you are not careful In Brazil, my advice ? STAY AWAY !!! Go to Italy for the beautiful girls. - Half Italian

I lived for three years in Brazil. I have lived in cities where most Americans NEVER go. I have been through SEVERAL bicos, sitios, favelas as well as suburbs. The Brazilian women that I have met and known DON'T GIVE A DAMN about this "reputation" that you think they have to uphold or maintain. I lived 6 months on the outskirts of Belo Horizonte. I lived a month in Sao Paulo and 3 months in Aracaju. I have yet to meet ONE Brazilian woman who felt that everything she was doing was being observed by any one American.

If Brazilian women are beautiful, it is NOT only on the outside. That is the major difference between Brazilian women and American women. I have dated both and if given the choice, my choice would be Brazilian hands down. It is NOT because of their outside beauty which is more often than not, incredible, but their personalities and their character speaks volumes in comparison.

If women are wearing less clothes in Brazil, it has NOTHING to do with fashion. They wear it because they can AND because it is SO FRICKIN HOT..and humid as well. Hey if it brings the guys to the yard, where is the harm??

Look There are plenty of hot women in EVERY country, it is idiotic to think otherwise. I still prefer brazilian women. They take better care of their men. They are more liberal in thought and are more empathetic to people's needs and are genuine in their affection. There are no hidden agendas and they are terribly honest in general. Their level of passion is more profound.

I am unapologetically in love with Brazil. I don't care if I come off as annoying or not. I love the culture, the food and the beauty of the country. I have seen more of Brazil than most Brazilians. I have traveled throughout Minas Gerais. I have also taken a bus from Sao Paulo to Aracaju. I have flown into Brasilia, Rio and Salvador. I have seen some of the most beautiful parts of the country. I am not that gringo that goes to Rio and SP and figures that is all of the Brazil they need to know. My wife's family are Brazilian...most of my friends are Brazilian. I have Facebook and Myspace accts...it isn't the world's biggest thing to me, but very few people wished me a happy birthday on myspace OR facebook, however on my Orkut page which is highly Brazilian, I got over 30 different messages wishing me a happy birthday...I didn't have to do anything to get that, I am simply more appreciated by the Brazilians that I know. I have been speaking fluent Portuguese for the better part of 14 years. I do LOVE my countries. I love the country that I serve in the military and I love my wife's country that I have lived in and intend on retiring at..

I am myself in Brazil. I can relax better in Brazil. I love the culture and I love that I can play soccer with anyone at anytime. I love acaraje and I love relaxing in the rain. I love drinking coconut water every chance I can..I love watching Tv, soccer etc while eating a beautiful brazilian meal. I like the simple beautiful things that Brazil has to offer that the US does not. Life can be tough and challenging and YET, Brazilians have a better perspective of life than Americans ever will. I love that people that may not have all of the finer things in life, still recognize what matters the most, family. - winterman93
