read what you wrote at such an incredible speed - it was like Eureka ! Forrest you are phenomenal. You may have provided the key to unblock my slower than molasses reading abilities (something which has plagued me all my life and made me choose not to go to medical school). Any chance you or anyone can find or gin up a computer program to translate / tranform / rewrite e-books written in plain english so they come out just like the way you and our buddy Joao were writing? - Simpleton
GO TOO
MSNBC .COM
I read the world news from this site too. Also read from Observer of U.K. Still I think the coverage of "Estadão" is superb and the comments of the Brasilian bloggers are more colorful!

You should really ask Fatima to go to www.estadao.com.br and ask her to translate the comments (in case you have forgotten your Portuguese) .You would love them!! - João da Silva

@João da Silva: Nope.. I took it from Sleek's blog, but left a note saying I was posting it on my blog

@John Miller: I agree with you that there is no point in writing a 100% correct on the internet, but it was more a case of semantics then syntactics, don't you think? ;)

@Forrest Allen Brown: Frsit of all, tnakhs for the rpley on my pvouries psot and srory for the lcak of cemmtnos.. I've sepnt smoe dyas aawy form the cmeotupr :) I guess you're right... but again, about the syntactics ;) - Daniel M Cavalcante

John,

Don't take some of these blogs too seriously as some are just "agent provocateurs" but they do open conversation and for some, like in Geneva, have a latent but undeniable love interest in Brazil. Also attacking spelling is useless because English is not first language for many. You must cover your flanks at all times, show no weaknesses because Ch C.can act like a deranged pit bull.....

Ditto here Ch.c Chill out please.
Your constant flaming anger against Brasil discredits any meaningful comments you make.
And occasionally you do say something that is meaningful and thoughtful, but it gets lost amongst all your venom and anger that you write.
Did you get robbed, a jilted lover or have a bad experience in Brasil, and you are holding a grudge against Brasil?
Take a Valium or 2 and calm down. John

Dude, chill down and read up... Halliburton is responsible for the data of oil companies around the world. They're not only responsible for its transport, but for generating it. Besides, I don't think it is in any way an innocent company. And it that inspires any counter argument, I think you should write e-mails to www.halliburtonwatch.com instead of debating it here with me.

And specially after you misspell Mercosul I must disagree with you. First because Venezuela is not even a member. Second because that game is played literally everywhere like on Earth. That includes USA, Israel and Palestine, or any nation that messed up or needed any excuse to.

The original article I sent was edited, but it ended a little different. I never said this case showed how media is important to the democracy, but that it should reconsider its own "drills". But it goes for the media of any country, specially American. They smell the blood and just swim after it. Our authorities are a bit clumsier and it results in a lot more disastrous coverage, but the principles are basically the same anywhere there is an actual media.

Thanks for replying, by the way ;) - Daniel M Cavalcante

Yessssss.....correct 1000 % !
Such as from your Brother the Clown Chavez !
Or from Kirchner family...another of your good Brother !

This is not from......everywhere....curiously. But quite from a special area : Mercosur ONLY !!!!

And where did you read "Halliburton was indeed responsible for choosing the company for the transportation" ?????
In the same Brazilians medias that accused Halliburton ????
then we all know what it is worth.
Lets face it : NO "NORMAL" COMPANY WOULD GIVE IMPORTANT SECRETS TO BE TRANSPORTED BY ANOTHER COMPANY....LOCAL OR FOREIGN.
No doubt in my mind that a giant company such as Petrobras have their own security to transport ultra sensible informations !!!!

Your explanation is a stinky as your (Brazilians medias) first accusations !!!! - ch.c.

Despite the misspelling of complex, I agree with you on the Brazilian psyche. Though the blame game is played everywhere else too.

Of course.....a foreign firm was FIRST accused !
Typically Brazilian style.
Never ever trust a Brazilian...is proven time and again.
You truly have the Brazilian inferiority complexion....a well knwon local syndrome that you try to export all over the world.
It is always OTHERS reponsible for YOUR OWN MISBEHAVIORS.....NEVER YOURS !

Do I lie when I write time and again that brazilians are cheating, lying and hiding...because doing so is in your blood and genes ????

Hé..hé !! - ch.c.
