To get such a conversion -- if such a conversion is possible -- you will need to know for which day, month and year you want it. Ex: 10/10/1956. Brazilian currency can vary dramatically from one day to the other. Cruzeiro if I'm not mistaken was dropped for another currency name and then reused again years later. And then how many cruzeiros do you have? "1000 DEZ MIL CRUZEIROS" sounds very strange (Edited by Guest at 8:41 pm on Jan. 12, 2003)

The Cruzeiro existed on the following periods: Dates format (MM/DD/YYYY) Operation Periods: 11/01/42 a 02/12/67 05/15/70 a 02/27/86 03/16/90 a 07/31/93 In March 1986 to Cruzados (Cz$) divide by 1000 (one Thousand) In 01/16/1989 to Cruzado novo (NCz$) divide by 1000 (one Thousand) In 03/15/1990 to Cruzeiros (Cr$) did not have zeros cut In 08/01/1993 to Cruzeiros reais (CR$) divide by 1000 (one Thousand) In 07/01/1994 to Real (R$) divide by 2750 (Two thousand seven hundred and fifty) As in 01/10/2003 1 dollar = 3,2918000 Reais source Banco do Brasil. If I undestood correctly 10,000.00 (TEN THOUSAND Cruzeiros), I am sorry my friend but you have nothing 0 (zero).
