I was wondering if anybody knew a good place to start looking for work in Rio. 狢'm going to be in Rio for six months and have just enough money to scrape by but would like to earn a little bit more while I'm down there. 狢'm looking for any type of job that pays over three hundred reis per month. 狢 speak English and have a basic understanding of Portuguese. 鼦ny help would be greatly aprreciated.

im no expert on this, but you'll have a tough time finding work unless its under the table (I hear some bars employ this type), plus you cant get a legal job on a tourist visa from what i know

Truthfully.....300 reais a month for 6 months is about $500.00usd.

Unless you are leaving immediately you would do better to work overtime, find a newspaper route or borrow the money while you are in the United States.

Any job that an American with few skills can possibly do will already be taken by a Brazilian.....as it should be..
