Brazil's Workers Party, the PTThe "mensalão" (big monthly allowance) was a catastrophe for the Lula government. For the Workers Party (PT), the catastrophe was its tacit acceptance of the "mensalão." Symbolizing this acceptance was the Party's tolerance of the case of the congressional aide transporting dollars in his undershorts, especially the photo of militants carrying the deputy involved on their shoulders after his expulsion from Congress was avoided.

...Lula has legalized corruption.

...Lula has betrayed all his voters with lies, lies and lies, before, during and after his election.

There is also an excellent article on corruption in Brazil at :
http://insidecostarica.com/spe...uption.htm

Everyone should read it.

Over the years not much has changed in this subject, except that it goes crescendo all the time.
Corruption is at an all time high, with a President, that fighted all his life for an ethical ideology.....until before his election.

No doubt that the future growth of corruption will continue to be far superior than brazilian economic growth for decades to come and that innjustice will continue to prevail..
Military rulers were better than Lula !

They did not have to pay other politicians to pass new laws.

Everyone should also know is that what is revealed could only be the tip of the iceberg.

And the part you see in an iceberg is only 10 % !

"Despite their perplexity, many militants maintain their ethics and dreams. If they have not been contaminated by the leadership, if they have not made accommodations and accepted recent events, they will wake up and build a new PT or new parties."
Are you serious? Tthe left hasn't had a workable new idea in decades that hasn't been thoroughly discredited. PT is a cxase in point. Those folks are still living on another planet. They need to wake up and smell the coffee. The problems of PT are the result of making impossible to keep promises and you want more of the same? I hope the voters have fallen for this sham for the last time.
Not a true statement

Capacity for Indignation was never lost in Brazil

What was lost is the impunity and the fight against the rampant corruption at the higher echelons of this f**king government.
In a country where "indignations" abound, what is another one after the last one? Just one more drop in a gallon of the impunity.

let's math

1 Litre= 1000 Liters
1 drop - 1/20 of a millilitre

Do the math and calculate how many drops fill a litre of impunity and corruption.
You may change the value (1 litre) of corruption and impunity as a measure of your "Indigantion"

f**ky
