Brazil should be very careful of Dona Silva. She may seem like a "progressive", but in reality she is deeply conservative woman that want the teaching of science to Brazilian children restricted; she advocates that children a obiliged to "learn" about Creationism in biology classes instead of the accepted science. She also opposes research to to help the sick in advocating banning stem cell research.

Don't be fooled, she is a danger to Brazilian civil society.
