Subject: Tourist Visa Year IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know how Brazilian customs defines the year for the tourist visa's permitted 6 months to be counted within. Is it the calendar year, Jan1-Dec 31 or is it first entry? (For example if you first entered May 23, the year would be May 23 through May 22 of the next year.) Thanks.

Message: So does that mean that if you first entered May 23, 2001, then went back March 22- June 21, 2002, that you would have 5 more months you could legally visit before may 23, 2003? And then if you went March 23-August 23, 2003, you could still stay till November because your new year started again in May?
