Do Brazilians know how your TV soup operas are popular in Russia. Geeeez...all Russian channels are overloaded with your soup. Surely, Russian TV agents would never have bought it if they could not find its admirers. I think the secret of their popularity is similarity of latino and Russian mentality.

I read in some place that when that elevator felt down and you had a black-out, the TV stations received thousands of calls of people, desperate, because they lost the last episode of a soup opera. :)

I've heard that brazilians and russians are simmilar in the way they behave (we, brazilians, gravitate between euphoria and depression) and the sense of humor. But, I think Russian TV agents buy our soap operas because they are cheap, to first world standards.
