I recently visited Brasil and discovered among other things, a wonderful soft white cheese made by Kraft. It is in a clear white jar and called "requijao" at least itsounds like that. Is it sold anywhere in the US?

Yes, it is indeed wonderful rich fattening stuff.
I've never seen it in the US. Maybe if you live near a Brazilian community such as Newark, NJ or Miami, you could find it in a Brazilian market. I've seen MANY different brands besides Kraft. I was told you can make it yourself with cream and lemon juice, but I don't have a recipe. MMM, good stuff. I can still almost taste it from my trip 2 weeks ago.
