Showing Brazil to Travel Agents Around the World

The 32nd Brazilian Congress of Travel Agents will present the main national tourist destinations to travel operators around the world, starting today, in Rio de Janeiro. Around 20,000 sector professionals will meet at the Riocentro exhibition center up to Saturday.

There will be a series of seminars for improvement of services provided by the agencies and also presentation of tourist destinations in a space called Fair of the Americas, where there will be representatives from 35 countries.


The United States Tourist Industry Agency (TIA) is one of the main exhibitors, with information about 16 American cities like Las Vegas, Miami and Orlando. At the European Union stand destinations like Poland, Hungary and Slovakia will be presented.


There will be a business roundtable, on the 22nd, between Brazilian tourism agencies and representatives from 18 countries.


Among them are operators from Denmark, France, England, China, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Switzerland, Chile, Hungary, Greece, Argentina, Ukraine, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.


The meeting is promoted by the Brazilian Travel Agency Association (Abav).
