Well, did anyone notice the latest Brazzil.com outrage? In the letters section of the December issue (released in January - nice work Rod), about 60 per cent of the space was given to a long, incoherent, misinformed rebuttal to various snippets from the many emails sent to Brazzil.com in outrage after their atrocious and let's face it, terrorism supporting, October issue.
If we are to believe Brazzil.com, all of the third world's and Brazil's problems are to be blamed on the US, the IMF, the World Bank, and let's see, who else, the Marx Brothers, I suppose?
And worst of all, according to the line of thinking apparently supported by the publishers of Brazzil.com, terrorist acts of the most heinous perportions can be justified because the actions of or the policies supported by the US.
This is absolute nonsense. I am no expert on US policies, the IMF, etc., but I am sure Brazzil.com, Frei Betto, Dione Rocha, and "Christopher" aren't either. Even if any of these dubious allegations are true, exactly how does that justify killing 3000 innoncent people? I would really love to hear a coherent, persuasive, morally grounded argument on this matter.
