Belly dance is an ancient form of Middle Eastern dance that had its beginnings in village and tribal life. Over the centuries, it has developed into a fun, vigorous artform with exercise benefits. Practiced by individuals at all levels of physical ability, it is unique in that it honors the feminine spirit of women at all stages of life.
Suggested Attire: Leggings or loose skirt; leotard or half-shirt. Heavy socks or ballet slippers strongly recommended. Please bring a scarf to tie around hips. Coin belt is optional!
