I have been looking for a woman who wishes to write, talk and get to know one another. I am a single parent (1 boy 10yrs). Why a woman from Brazil? Maybe I am mis-informed but, from what I have seen they still are concerned with family. They generaly are a caring, nurturing and at the same time know how to take care of a husband. Your desire for a caring, nurturing, family-oriented woman is admirable. But, like the song goes, you're lookin' for love in all the wrong places. First, Brazil is a very liberal nation. Of course there are exceptions, but in general Brazilian women are not exactly the epitome of virtue and morality, if you know what I mean. Brazilian culture, for whatever historical reasons, is permeated with hyper-sexuality. I know what you're thinking: "So is America." You're thinking you'll find more traditional values in Latin America. Think again. Brazilian children watch TV shows hosted by porn starlets. They listen to music on the radio that sings the praises of anal sex. Premarital sex and postmarital infidelity is the norm. In short, Brazilian sex/romantic/family life is nothing short of chaotic. I might be painting with too broad a brush here. There ARE exceptions, but I'm attempting to correct your misinformed, over-romanticized vision of Brazilian women and their "family values." Second, even if Brazilian women were the way to go, do you really think you'll find one here? For starters, this magazine is aimed principally at an American audience. Most importantly, in case you haven't noticed, THIS SITE GETS ALMOST NO TRAFFIC! This bulletin board is generally dead. It has been as long as I've been checking it (for nearly three years now). The closest it ever came to resembling an active, dynamic board was in October, November, and December of that year. And that was just a handful of people basically talking with themselves. Good luck, man. Ignore Micos, he sounds like an @$$hole to me. You are obviously sincere, if a little naive when it comes to Brazilian women. | |

There are super good family women there though you have the same problem here knowing what a woman is like until you are too deep. It is true you can meet women way more easily in Brasil so that advantage is super as compared to the American culture of the USA. Try the Brasil cities and then the country-side and see the difference. | |
