Posted by david On Sunday, March 10, 2002 at 12:13:17 Message: Mike, brazilians dress according to occasions like everybody and you didnt mention the state you re going, if you re going South you get a european-like weather and german descendants well, I can only comment on Rio de Janeiro: people dress light, due to the heat, on week ends you ll see shorts t. shirts, sandals, bermudas brasilians are usually very friendly and talkative, so you might find people that give you light taps on your shoulder or saying out loud:hoooow areee you mike! girls usually are kissed on both cheeks, and they use many gestures like italians(well, not all of them) to emphasize what s being said. | |
