To my surprise, I was the single soul walking around campus. There were those signs on the doors saying that the working day would start at noon (because of the match). Then I went to the cantina and joined a few other people that like me thought that there would be classes. While they were all watching the match, I had my cup of hot chocolate and read an article. Then on my way back home, after the match, there was traffic jam in the streets to the downtown area. It was about noon. That was what happened in Porto Alegre. I believe that things weren't different in other Brazilian cities. Rene | |
