I am a US citizen who is interested in buying
property in Brazil. Can you advise on any laws,
regulations, or tax considerations?
Specifically, I want "to purchase" an apartment
for myself when I am in Brazil. I have been
traveling there quite often as a tourist for
several years now, and I plan to stay there and
study Portuguese for the next 2 years as a student
with a valid "student visa" from the Federal
Univ
