I just want to let you know how upset and disgusted I got when I received your June issue and saw and read the article on
Love, Sex and Prostitution. I have been receiving this magazine for a couple of years now and never in that time have I read anything
so disgusting and perverted. I felt I was reading an X-rated story, words and description that were used were just too much.
I was also very embarrassed because I paid to have this magazine sent to a friend who grew up in Brazil and has been living
in the States for quite sometime now, and I found out this was the first magazine she got. I myself have lived in Brazil for a couple
of years and find that there is so much more for the US public to know about Brazil than sex and prostitution and its availability. If
this is what you want the US public to know about your wonderful country, then I am very disappointed in your choices for stories.
I will continue to read your magazine, though, because I want to stay in tune with Brazil.

Dear, Brazzil: Like the new name. Glad you haven't changed the subscription rate, as it's time for me to renew. $3 check
enclosed. I have only one complaint. I realize that as black-and-white only you feel compelled to make it as graphically interesting as
possible with such a limitation. However, I find it hard on my eyes and quite a turnoff when I have to read an article which is printed
white type on black background. Also gray/screened backgrounds are almost as annoying. I like your irreverent style though.

Color and speed
I would like to thank you for bringing me Brazzil
every month. I read every issue from cover to cover! I hope one day to
see the magazine in a color format. I'm sure the change would make
Brazzil an even bigger success. I would like to see more
sports coverage, namely auto racing, surfing and soccer. Brazilians are making a lot of progress in these areas.
In auto racing we had the legendary Ayrton Senna and currently have André Ribeiro, Émerson Fittipaldi, Christian
Fittipaldi, Roberto Moreno and Gil de Ferran. In surfing we have Victor Ribas, Renan Rocha, Fábio Gouveia, Jojo Olivenca, Guilherme
Herdy, Peterson Rosa, and Renato Wanderley. Of course Brazil will always be known for its soccer champions. If anyone shares an
interest in surfing I would enjoy corresponding with them.

UK eyes on us
We are producing a CD-ROM for UK schools with fun web sites with educational value. There are still a lot of schools
which are not on the Net in the UK. This will enable pupils to get a taste of what they can find on the WWW and will provide ideas on
how to create their own pages. We are particularly interested in your site and would be pleased if you could E-mail your permission

We want to share your magazine with more of our Brazilian friends. They aren't familiar with it and it will be a nice surprise

Bustling with Brazilians
Your publication is still the best that I have found in the US. The Brazilian population and activity has really picked up in
Miami in the past few years. Florida's greatest trade partner is now Brazil. We are planning on a New Vision II festival for November.
There is a wonderful line up of Brazilian artists. Let us know if you can get out here to cover it.

Olympic rooting
I've been living in Sweden for four years now. Since last year when I got the first
Brazzil (it was called News from
Brazil) I wanted to write something. I teach Portuguese at Folk University in Gothemburg.
Last year I worked as team attaché to Brazil and met our Brazilian athletes. I want to send Robson da Silva, Zeca Barbosa,
Joaquim Cruz, Édson de Oliveira and all the others who live in the US my best regards and wish them big luck in Atlanta. A special hug
