InBev's Carlos Brito The CEO of AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, Brazilian Carlos Brito,  is among the Top 25 Multilatinos selected by Latin Business Chronicle. The list, the first of its kind, highlights Latin America executives who excel internationally beyond their logical home base.

“We created the list to show that Latin America exports more than raw materials and to recognize outstanding talent,” says Joachim Bamrud, Editor-in-Chief of Latin Business Chronicle.

In addition to Brito, the list includes ten other Brazilians as well as executives from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay and Paraguay.

Among the other Brazilians is José Lorente, who heads up Europe operations for US-based Owens-Illinois, the world’s largest glass container manufacturer, and Enderson Guimarães, head of Major Appliances in Europe for Sweden-based Electrolux, the world’s second-largest appliance maker.

Eduardo Leite, who was born in Uruguay, but holds dual Brazilian and Uruguayan citizenship, is also included. He currently serves as head of the Global Energy, Mining & Infrastructure Practice Group at U.S.-based Baker & McKenzie, the second-largest U.S. law firm in revenues. In October he will become the firm’s first-ever foreign-born chairman.
