Brazil Takes Its Best Beauty Goods to the Emirates

This is the second consecutive year in which the Brazilian industry will be participating in Beauty World Middle East, the most important cosmetics fair in the Middle East.

Up to next Wednesday, May 4, 27 domestic companies from Brazil will be presenting their products at the Dubai Airport Expo, in the United Arab Emirates.
 
“The fair presents an excellent chance to improve trade relations with the Arab countries, creating business opportunities and export perspectives,” stated João Carlos Basilio da Silva, president of the Brazilian Association of Toiletries, Perfumes & Cosmetics Industries (Abihpec), which is organizing company participation in the event with the support of the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex).


In the Brazilian pavilion, which has an area of 258 square meters, the following companies will be participating: Abihpec (taking Aroma do Campo, All Nature and íŠxtase), ígua de Cheiro, Amazon Joy, Boniquet, Condor, Extratophlora, International Mydori, Kanechomn, Kenboo, L’ícqua di Fiori, Merheje, Nazca, Niasi, Nunaat, NY Looks, the Brazilian Cosmetics Hub (taking companies Amend, Betulla, Davene, Karina, Orgânica, Pierre Alexander and Valmari), Sther, Very Important and Vita Derm.


Last year, the Brazilian pavilion at the fair received over 650 business visitors from around 20 different countries, among them the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Egypt.


It is estimated that the contacts made at the fair generated approximately US$ 4.18 million in the 12 following months, creating 112 new job opportunities in the sector. The same success is expected at this edition of the fair.
