Bargain Hunters Make Brazilian Market Rebound

Latin American shares turned higher, led by Brazilian receipts, which received the brunt of yesterday’s steep declines. U.S. shares managed to post strong gains amid mixed economic data, as Microsoft posted solid quarterly results and gave a positive revenue outlook, while crude oil prices slumped.
