Brazil Looks to Israel for Health Matters

A delegation sent to Israel by the Brazilian Ministry of Health went, this Wednesday, March 1st, to the cities of Negev and Haifa. The objective was to visit the facilities of the Teva Tech Laboratory.

Israel’s Teva Tech. the largest producer of generic medicine in the world, is located in Negev. Brazilians also visited the Faculty of Social Welfare and Public Health Studies, of the University of Haifa.

The group arrived in Israel during the weekend, to participate in the seminar Sanitary Regulation and the Bidding Process of Brazil’s Ministry of Health, which occurred Monday and Tuesday, February 27 and 28.

During the meeting, in addition to bidding and wastewater treatment matters, the group also discussed medical technologies.

The delegation is integrated by representatives of the Ministry of Health, of the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), and the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz).
