Hackers Invade Brazil’s Ruling Party Site and Post Obscene Message

"Chega dessa porra" (Enough of this shit!) was one of the messages left by Brazilian hackers who attacked today, August 23, Brazil’s ruling party PT’s (Workers Party) site.

The homepage – www.pt.org.br – has been cleaned now and all that could be seen in the afternoon was the red star of the PT with this message under the party’s symbol: "We are in maintenance."

The invasion occurred around 1 pm, Brasília time, and a group calling itself Bios Team (in English) assumed responsibility for the attack. They posted a series of charges against Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and his government.

The hackers posted in the site the PT star on fire with the caption: "Chega dessa porra!" They then added a text saying that Lula was a curse that came accompanied by seven plagues:  the Congressional Inquiries on the Post Office, Bingos, Purchase of Votes, Bloodsuckers, Mensalão (big monthly allowance) and crises in agriculture and in metallurgical industries.

At the end they wrote: "Vote 45", in a reference to the number of presidential candidate Geraldo Alckmin from the opposition PSDB party in the coming October elections.

The hackers (it might be only one) even excused themselves for their bad Portuguese adding that president Lula doesn’t know Portuguese either. The note is filled with gross grammatical, punctuation and spelling mistakes. Here’s the message in its entirety:

"Some countries suffer with wars, others with terrorist attacks, some with terrible earthquakes, others with tsunamis. There are even those who suffer with hurricanes and tornados.  We in Brazil have Lula… oh misfortune…

"He is practically a curse and with him he brings the seven plagues: the Post Office Congressional Inquiry (CPI), the Bingos CPI, the Purchase of Votes CPI, the Bloodsuckers CPI,  the Mensalão (big monthly allowance) CPI – the famous mensalão that turned into funk – without forgetting the Agriculture Crisis (the guy doesn’t care about agriculture, the country’s future and he couldn’t care less but, Mr President, if you ate something today give thanks to a farmer for that, since he was the one who planted it) and the Crisis in the metallurgical industries  (in which the president once was a worker).

"The country is sinking in taxes and fees, it is interest eating interest. But Lula doesn’t give a damn, he is on his new plane, he gets money in his banking account and he doesn’t know where this money came from or who sent it.

"Sheesh, what a riot… Open your eyes, folks, this is an election year. Stop selling vote for a denture or a soccer ball, let’s vote consciously and take this country on a new path… PS: Sorry for my Portuguese mistakes, but who cares, you don’t need to know good Portuguese not even to be president."
