Protests Unite Brazilian Indians and Get Them Official Promises

Brazil’s National Free Land Indigenous Demonstration ended on Friday, April 29, in BrasÀ­lia. The more than 700 leaders from 89 peoples who camped for five days on the lawn of Esplanada dos Ministérios (the square in BrasÀ­lia where all ministries are located) consider that important progress was made.
