Made in Brazil Just for the Very Sexy and Very Rich

Brazil's Lindelucy "It is a luxury item, and it was made to meet the demands of the most refined female taste," says Lúcia Iórios about her product. She is the owner of Lindelucy, a Brazilian company specialized in lingerie, which has started to export to the United States and the Netherlands.

The firm owns a factory in the municipality of Juruaia, in the state of Minas Gerais, in the Brazilian Southeast. The small textile mill works with multibrand stores and distributors all across Brazil.

Iórios, in November, participated in Mode City, an international trade fair for beachwear, underwear and sportswear, held in Paris, There she a had a chance to contact with businesses from all over the world.

Now that she has developed six to seven lines during one single period, Iórios, who started out making lingerie in her own house, intends to open exclusive Lindelucy stores in the cities of Belo Horizonte and São Paulo.

"We are negotiating the opening of our first franchised store in Campinas (interior of the state of São Paulo)," she explains.

According to Lúcia, the company professionals are constantly seeking new trends, and always use quality raw material to develop exclusive, sophisticated items. "Our collections are designed to convey energy, coziness and happiness. The brand believes that all women can fulfil their dreams," says the businesswoman.

Iório tells that she always invests in delicate, exclusive fabrics, precious details, and unexpected shapes, some featuring daring designs, to conquer the clientele.

One of these items was a corset made of satin and spandex and lace, manufactured with 650 Swarovski crystals, adorned with pheasant feathers, white gold straps and precious stones. This lingerie piece was exported to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, one of the company's last conquests overseas.

The company is 15 years old, employs 52 people and makes approximately 15,000 sets of clothing per month. In the domestic market, it is present mainly in the states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Ceará and Mato Grosso do Sul.
