Brazil’s Fair Wants to Promote the Brand Amazon

The Manaus Free Zone Superintendence (Suframa) will hold, from the 30th of August to the 2nd of September, in Manaus, capital city of the northern Brazilian state of Amazonas, the 3rd International Amazon Fair.

Last month, the project of the fair was presented at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Pará (Fiepa), in Belém, capital of this state.

"The fair will exhibit the national and international business opportunities that the Brazilian Amazon offers, promoting the brand Amazônia, attracting investments, partnerships and stimulating exports," explained the representative of the fair’s coordination at the International Business Center, at Fiepa, Fábio Contente.

He added that other objectives of the event are to increase tourism and partnerships in the scientific-academic area.

The Amazon Fair will have the participation of exhibitors from the North of Brazil, companies in the industrial, regional handicrafts and tourism sectors; services suppliers, institutes, universities as well as teaching, research and technology centers
