The top 10 teams are closer than ever in the latest rankings issued by soccer’s world governing body, FIFA, with Brazil keeping its leadership position.

The top four spots remain unchanged in rankings issued Wednesday. Brazil remains the top team with 835 points, followed by the Czech Republic with 789, just one point ahead of the third-place Netherlands.

Argentina is fourth with 765 points, with the number-five United States just one point behind to claim its best-ever ranking.

Only eight points separate the rest of the top-10, with Spain holding steady at number six (763), Mexico down one spot in seventh place (762), and France dropping three notches to number eight (760).

England (756) and Portugal (755) round out the top-10, unchanged in ninth and 10th respectively.
